Statistics Calculator-- 1.04

Statistics Calculator is an introductory app for our flagship Statistics Calculator++. It offers advanced scientific features as well as statistical capabilities such as regression analysis, probability distributions, confidence intervals, and hypothesis tests.

By purchasing a single In-App Purchase, Statistics Calculator will have all the functionality of Statistics Calculator++. This includes removing the limit on list size, unlocking advanced scientific features, graphing regression models, and accessing probability distributions, confidence intervals, and hypothesis tests.

This app was designed with the user in mind. No manual reading is required to perform statistical analysis. Simply use the Add X, Add Y, and Add f buttons to enter list elements and frequencies. All statistics and regression models are just a few taps and swipes away. Lists can be viewed by tapping the List button. The app interprets list elements independently or jointly for regression analysis if the lists are of equal size.

A table presents various statistics measures such as sum, mean, population standard deviation, sample standard deviation, sample variance, sum of squares, min, max, quartiles, and sum of multiplications of two lists. Each measure can be selected from the table for further calculations.

The app calculates linear regression, logarithmic regression, exponential regression, power regression, and quadratic regression (available through an additional In-App Purchase) for regression analysis. Predictions for x and y values can be calculated and residuals and residual sum of squares can be viewed using the simple and intuitive user interface.

Other notable features of Statistics Calculator include:

• The left pane scrolls to reveal additional functionality without needing to switch modes. The most common operations are always visible, and less common operations can be accessed by scrolling the left half of the screen.
• The app shows the expression as you enter it and keeps a history of your calculations (swipe up on the screen to view the history).
• Backspace functionality allows you to delete the last digit entered.
• Sinusoidal functions can be calculated in degrees, radians, or gradians.

The following features are available through the Advanced Scientific In-App Purchase:

• Capability to perform fraction manipulations and convert between different formats (proper, improper, and mixed fractions) seamlessly integrating fraction, integer, and decimal manipulations.
• Capability to input angles in degrees, minutes, and seconds format and convert between degrees-minutes-seconds and decimal formats.
• Capability to calculate permutation, combination, Least Common Multiple (LCM), Greatest Common Divisor (GCD), and prime factorization.
• Quadratic and system of two linear equations solver.
• Rectangular to polar and polar to rectangular coordinate conversions (useful for phasor calculations for electrical engineers).
• Simulates rolling one to four dice.
